At about 1:34 PM, Amherst fire dispatch sent Clarence Center EMS to 9625 Main Street, Clarence High School, for a 38-year-old man having an allergic reaction to a bee sting near the pickleball courts. The dispatcher gave the location by the courts as crews were toned out at 1:35 PM.

By 1:42 PM the traffic showed the patient — carried by unit 227 — en route to the VA, with Akron's crew marking back in service at 1:43 PM. The radio carried no further word on his condition once the call cleared.

The traffic showed a unit clearing at 1:20 PM as the second ambulance was assigned to the station house. No further detail on the man's condition or the underlying complaint crossed the air before the call moved off the channel.
