The girl reported the firearm was in his front waistband.

By 12:24 AM the subject was no longer following the complainant — he was, per the radio, “last seen doing circles on a bike in the middle of the Clearfield Library lot”. The complainant was later described as a 16-year-old who alleged the man had shown her what appeared to be a firearm and threatened to use it after some kind of physical altercation. Officers held the air clear and continued checking the area around Hopkins as she walked eastbound on Red Oak toward Clearfield.

Crews found a jeep fully involved in the westbound lane, just before the Humboldt Parkway overpass, with fire that “looks like it jumped over from Humboldt to the 33”. By 11:14 PM command reported the vehicle was an auto fire, unoccupied — the feared occupant did not materialize.
